Bonded T1 line pricing

There are many different carriers that offer bonded T1 services at different pricing and circuit speeds. Please beware that pricing is based on service address and phone number, so please use real information to get accurate results. Almost any tier 1 provider offers bonded t1 service IF they have service in your area: AT&T, CenturyLink, MegaPath, cBeyond, Level 3 and XO just to name a few.

So how do you know which provider to choose? This can be a daunting task, because price alone isn’t everything. That is why we have carrier services specialists available. After you generate your bonded T1 quote request, you can choose to get in touch with several different bandwidth experts because you want to make an informed decision.

What is a bonded T1?

A bonded T1 line is several T1 lines bonded together into a single big pipe connecting to the internet. A single T1 line has an upload and download speed of 1.55 Mbps, a bonded t1 has the upload and download speed multiple of that of a T1 line. So a 3x bonded T1 has a speed of 4.5 Mbps. The most common bonded T-1 speeds are 3 Mbps, 4.5 Mbps, 6 Mbps, 7.5Mpbs, and 9Mbps - and these are symmetrical speeds - meaning the upload speed is as high as the download speed.

Businesses choose a bonded T1 over a DSL line when connectivity is of essence for business continuity. A bonded T1 is not shared, has a guaranteed speed, and comes with a SLA (Service Level Agreement). These SLAs differ per provider, and cover things like uptime, mean time to repair, latency etc.

The video below does a good job explaining how a t1 works. It talks about a single and not a bonded T1, but the principle remains the same.

Our company was outgrowing our single T-1 line connection and we were looking to upgrade. Beeing out in a real local area, my boss thought that AT&T was the only available option. But thanks to you guys I have been able to find a few local carriers as well so I made my boss happy

We are still not sure which carrier we will end up going with, but at least now we have many options rather than just one.

    Thanks

Great news and thanks for the feedback! Yes we sometimes even see those circuits for less than $275 even depending on where you are at and which carriers are there.

This service is WAAY to slow dudes, i asked for pricing and had to wait like two days… and it was even way too expensive - come on….. sigh..

XboxRocks, it is expensive compared to your home ADSL as a bonded t-1 circuit is a dedicated service for businesses and not for bandwidth to play xbox games on. And about our slow response, I mean to be fair you requested quotes on Friday evening at 10.43pm EST. We only operate during business hours. Sorry for the ‘bad experience’ but this service is intended for business customers.
